Ruben Reddy Architects were appointed to design and build student housing for the University of KwaZulu-Natal at the Wesville campus.

The project brief was to design affordable student accommodation for 1,200 students. The building was conceived to be robust, easy to maintain and cost effective to build. The student housing was built around an existing cricket ground, giving the building its unique oval shape.
