The Russian Bid Committee for the 2018 FIFA World Cup approached Ruben Reddy Architects to form part of the technical team responsible for the design and planning of the proposed venue infrastructure for the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
Ruben Reddy Architects played an integral part in the development of the bid that Russia submitted to FIFA to win the right to host the 2018 FIFA World Cup. Among the various inputs that the firm contributed to the bid were design proposals for 5 iconic stadiums to be built for the event. The international multi-disciplinary team was also responsible to prepare the Stadiums chapter of the Bid Document submitted to FIFA. This chapter included all technical information required to demonstrate the venue infrastructure compliance with FIFA World Cup requirements.
The Russian bid was successful and Russia was awarded the rights to host the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
